We went to the library for the first time today. We will have library time every Friday to exchange books. To start the year students will be allowed to sign out 1 picture book. These books are meant for students to engage with in the 3 ways of reading:
Read the picture (looking at the pictures and creating a story)
Retell the story (If it is familiar retell the story)
Read the words (often this may require an adult to support them)
