Part of the math curriculum in to represent and describe numbers,
concretely, pictorially and symbolically.
Grade one students should be able to this to 20 by the end of the year.
Grade two students should be able to do this to 100 by the end of the year.
We have been practicing representing numbers in a variety of ways.
