Second Great Lesson

On Thursday, October 17th we had the Montessori Second Great Lesson, The Coming of Life. In this lesson we learned the order that species came to be on the planet:

• Bacteria
• Blue Green Algae
• Sea Life
• Trilobite
• Fish
• Plants
• Insects
• Amphibians
• Ferns
• Reptiles
• Dinosaurs
• Conifers
• Flowers
• Birds
• Mammals

Students participated in guided drawing exercises for most of the species.
